They sound too good to be true, but is there any chance those slimming hot pants could do a bit of good? I have stubborn fat around my bum and thighs that just wont shift so could these be the answer? There must be some proof that they work or they wouldnt be able to sell them and the website says they have done tests http://zaggora.com/how-it-works/
Worth a try at least!
Hmm. I seriously doubt it.
Hmm. I seriously doubt it. They just make you lose fluids by making you really sweaty. If you want a sweaty bum then go for it! If not, save your money and keep working out, the fat will come off eventually.
Did you look at the website?

NEW Research Reveals: Zaggora Hotpants™ Help Women Lose 4 TIMES More Weight in 30 Minutes
Leading UK University tests iconic Hotpants against regular sportswear and discover women lose weight 4 times faster with Hotpants during a 30 minute period of exercise
Zaggora launched Hotpants to the world with huge success in July 2011 – selling a pair every minute in their first 10 weeks, over 275,000 pairs within the first five months. Thriving on social proof from over 130,000 women on Facebook, Zaggora’s first technology enhanced product flew off the shelves after women experienced significant weight loss and smoother legs.
In November last year, the brand commissioned the physiology department at a leading UK University in the field of sports science to conduct a series of tests to research the thermal and metabolic changes that occur when exercising in Hotpants compared to a standard pair of gym shorts. Their findings are quite astonishing.
Tested on nine females with an average BMI of 23.3, they found that, compared to a standard garment in 30 minutes of exercise:
• Weight loss is around FOUR TIMES GREATER in Hotpants
• Hotpants increase the energy expenditure during exercise by 6%
• Hotpants increase energy expenditure in the resting stage after exercise by 16%
• The core temperature in Hotpants increased by an average of 18% compared to the control
• Thermal sensation was significantly greater but safe in Hotpants
How Zaggora products work
The concept is focused on using a special Celu-Lite fabric technology to increase your natural body temperature during exercise. In turn, the body starts working harder resulting in increased metabolism and leading to greater calorie burn. Zaggora Hotpants were made to fit into every woman’s lifestyle no matter how busy they are and can be worn under your clothes at work, whilst at the gym or at home.
Zaggora products
Last month Zaggora announced the launch of three new products, expanding its range of technology advanced active wear, following the same concept as Hotpants, to give workouts more power in 2012. The new range includes ‘Flares’, leggings that target thighs, calves and bums, ‘Capri Flares’ three quarter length leggings and ‘Nude Hotpants’ which can be worn under garments.
Zaggora will go on to commission further scientific research in 2012 exploring further the long term effects of the technology enabled active wear through state of the art methodologies.
*Tests were conducted in December 2011 and January 2012 in a British Association of Sport and Exercise Science Accredited Laboratories in controlled conditions.
Available from www.zaggora.com prices start from £44.99.

I can't stop laughing at the picture. Are they supposed to be 'runnning'? Clearly PR people and a photographer who have no clue about actual sport unless it's running to the chippy (cynical... me?).
Anyhow, yes, nine people in their test. Bit rubbish eh. Would you wear them 'under your clothes at work'? mind you, stranger things happen at sea.
Is it April 1st already??

I doubt they do anything. A study with 9 participants is way too small to really prove anything for definite. I might believe it if they had a couple of hundred and compared the pants to normal, similar-looking hotpants. As for testimonials? Placebo effect does a lot. Also people may have been more likely to eat better and exercise more when using their special fat-burning hotpants. Too many variables!
